Colectivo Surf is south Rosarito's craft brewery: a second-floor tasting room on the free road at Km 41, across from Las Gaviotas, with an indoor dining room and a big terrace, both with ocean views. The house pours its own beer — the Colectivo Surf Cervecería brand — alongside labels from other Baja breweries; tourism guides mention more than 30 labels.

The kitchen goes with the ocean: sushi and sushi burritos, fish and shrimp tacos, ceviches, oysters and clams, plus a kids menu. 2025-2026 reviews agree the beer is the star — "every one we tried, 10/10" — and that the food is fine but not the memorable part; they also sell bottles to go.

It's pet friendly, with a terrace and free parking out front, and Google Maps lists live music (days aren't confirmed: ask). It's 3 km (2 mi) from the Christ of the Sacred Heart statue and very close to K-38: a good way to end a day of surfing or sightseeing.

Don't miss

  • A flight or a house pint on the terrace
  • Sushi or a sushi burrito on the side
  • Fish or shrimp tacos
  • Bottles to go
