Ziplining

AdventureFor: All levelsYear-round

Ziplining in Rosarito isn't a giant Puerto Vallarta-style canopy park, and knowing that upfront sets the right expectations: these are mid-sized installations in the hills and canyons around town, almost always sold as a combo with ATVs and paintball. And in that format it works great: lines run over 800 feet long with drops of up to 260 feet over the canyon — enough for your stomach to notice — and the full package (zipline, about 45 minutes of automatic ATV riding, and a paintball round) fills half a day with adrenaline for a reasonable price, well under what a comparable adventure package costs north of the border.

These combos are booked online (Tripadvisor, Viator and Airbnb Experiences list them with recent 2025-2026 reviews) and generally include full safety gear: harness, helmet and a guide. Some parks add hanging bridges and challenge towers. Final prices depend on what the package includes and whether hotel pickup is offered, so compare a couple of listings before booking; reserving ahead is especially smart on weekends, when local crowds show up too.

The obvious-but-important stuff applies: weight and age limits vary by operator (ask before you go if you're bringing small kids), closed shoes are mandatory, and nothing loose in your pockets — it won't come back from up there. On weekdays you'll practically have the lines to yourself.

Who is it for? Groups and families with teenagers who want a varied adrenaline day without driving to some faraway adventure park. Who is it not for? Anyone with serious vertigo, or zipline collectors chasing a record-length monster: the charm here is the combo, not the record.
